Resident Evil Series Is Getting An Official Musical This Fall In Japan

Capcom announced that Resident Evil is getting a stage play musical version this fall in Japan, performed by  Reon Yuzuki, former Top Star “otokoyaku” (actress who plays male roles) of the Japanese Takarazuka Revue’s Star Troupe.

 

Musical Biohazard (Resident Evil) will be produced by G2, known as the playwright of the Japanese My Fair Lady musical. Resident Evil’s upcoming musical will also be supervised by Hiroyuki Kobayashi, programmer and producer who worked on the series from the very first title.

 

The Resident Evil musical will make its premiere in Tokyo this September from the 30th until October 12th at the Akasaka ACT Theater. From November 11th through 16th, they’ll perform in Osaka at the Umeda Arts Theater.

 

Tickets will begin going on sale starting this June.
