Flipnote Studio 3D is coming to Europe as a Nintendo Account bonus. Nintendo has announced that European users who pre-register or sign up for a Nintendo Account between March 31-April 30, 2016, will receive a copy of Flipnote Studio 3D for the Nintendo 3DS. After creating an account and linking it to the Nintendo Network ID that is used on their Nintendo 3DS, they will be able to download the game from the official website.
Nintendo 3DS owners can use Flipnote Studio 3D to make brief animations that have three different layers, allowing the drawings to “pop” when viewed on a 3DS. Red, blue, yellow, green, white, and black pens can be used to make designs. Finished animations can be shared over local wireless connections or via saving it to the SD card and uploading them via social media networks.
Flipnote Studio 3D was originally released in Japan back in 2013 and was supposed to appear in North America and Europe that same year. Instead, Flipnote Studio 3D was offered as a 2015 Club Nintendo reward in North America. This promotion will serve as the application’s European debut.
