The PlayStation 4 Grand Kingdom beta begins today. To help people prepare, as well as understand what happens in the game’s online component, NIS America has put together a trailer showing war footage.
Online activities in Grand Kingdom begin when a player signs a war contract with one of the four nations for between one and five wars. After forging an alliance, it’s possible to visit that nation’s capital to buy weapons, research equipment, vote on where to attack or what Royal Treaties to sign to alter the course of battle. You can then fight firsthand on a battlefield with one of your mercenary squads, even helping to determine where armaments might be placed at the outset, and assault enemy strongholds. Your extra units that aren’t in your active party can even be dispatched to other fights.
Grand Kingdom’s PlayStation 4 beta will run until May 10, 2016. Save data can be carried over to the full game. People can play the full version of Grand Kingdom on the PlayStation Vita and PlayStation 4 in Europe on June 17, 2016. It will arrive in North America a few days later, on June 21, 2016.
