Samurai Rising Shows Off Its Red Mage, Monk, Hunter, Onmyoji And Other Jobs

Samurai Rising is Square Enix’s upcoming smartphone action RPG previously showed off some of its classes and they’ve updated the official website with a look at the rest of the jobs.

 

Monk:

Weapon: Gauntlets

With exceptionally high HP and attack, Monks are able to bust out with a barrage of attacks while closing in on enemies as a powerful close-ranged fighter.

 

Hunter

Weapon: Bow

By rapidly shooting arrows towards enemies, Hunters can keep fighting without letting enemies get near. They fight from safe positions to attack enemies from long range.

 

Thief

Weapon: Dagger

Thieves don’t have much attack power for a melee fighter but they make up for it in speed. They specialize in lowering enemy statuses in battle.

 

Red Mage

Weapon: One-handed Sword, Staff

From attacks to heals, physical to magic—Red Mages are a jack of all trades that can enhance party members while weakening enemies.

 

Samurai

Weapon: One-handed Sword, Two-handed Sword

With high HP and physical defense, the Samurai are able to go into battle even while surrounded by enemies. They make for excellent short-ranged fighters.

 

Onmyoji

Weapon: One-handed Sword, Dagger

The Onmyoji is a unique class that has the ability to match an enemy’s affinity and add magic to its weapon.

 

Artisan

Weapon: Hammer

Artisans have slow attacks but make up for it with their destructive single-blow attacks. They’re close-ranged fighters with the ability to close in on the gap between themselves and the enemies.

 

Samurai Rising will release in Japan in spring 2016 for Android and iOS. It’s a free-to-play game with micro-transactions.
