Sega has released new footage from the English version of 7th Dragon III Code: VFD. In the game, players form a party of characters who become dragon hunters for Nodens Enterprises. The video spends a little over a minute going through the battle system.

The new 7th Dragon III Code: VFD trailer begins by looking at the support system. You’re able to have three characters in your primary team at a time, with a second and third supporting team waiting in the wings. After a certain number of turns, you can have all three members of the team use a support skills to aid your active party.

It is also possible to call upon one member from the additional teams for a buddy skill. After a certain number of turns have passed, you can team one of these reserve party members with an active one to break through an enemy’s defense.

The final skill shown in the video is the Unison Skill. Once you have three parties of three people in 7th Dragon III Code: VFD, it is possible to have all of them act as one to unleash a Unison Skill attack. All nine characters will attack the enemy one after the other.

People in North America will be able to get 7th Dragon III Code: VFD for their Nintendo 3DS systems on July 12, 2016.
