Fallout 4’s Latest Far Harbor Trailer Goes Behind-The-Scenes

Far Harbor, a Fallout 4 add-on that adds an entirely new region with extra towns, characters, enemies, and quests to the game, will be arriving on May 19, 2016. To help people prepare for the experience and understand what went into it, Bethesda has released new footage that goes into the making of Far Harbor.

In the three and a half minute video, Bethesda’s Will Shen, Lead Designer, Matt Carofano, Lead Artist, and Phil Nelson, Lead Producer, talk about decisions made when bringing the game to Maine in the add-on. (The expansion is based on Bar Harbor, Maine.) Far Harbor is the largest landmass made for a Bethesda game’s DLC, and it’s a more feral, rugged place than the Commonwealth. There’s lots of radiation. Marine Armor will become the highest tier armor, you’ll find harpoon and submachine guns. You’ll also be able to bring Nick Valentine along to learn more about his backstory or recruit a new companion named Longfellow.

Fallout 4 is immediately available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PCs.
