Deus Ex: Mankind Divided’s Latest Footage Takes Adam Through A City Hub

Square Enix’s Deus Ex Universe Pre-E3 Showcase introduced people to Deus Ex: Mankind Divided’s city hub. During an almost 18 minute video, we get to see Adam Jensen go through a regrouping mission, where he gets himself together after an augmented extremist attack and heads to Vaclav Koller to have his augments checked out. However, Koller is an underground augmentation specialist, which means reaching him for a checkup isn’t exactly easy.

Here is the Deus Ex: Mankind Divided city-hub gameplay demo, with commentary from Jean Francois Dugas, Eidos Montreal’s Executive Game Director.

Due to the current unrest in the game, Koller is in a bit of trouble as the mission begins. Some suspicious and tough valley gangsters are hanging out around his bookstore. Adam has to take the back way to get to Koller. Jensen has multiple means of getting to Koller, with some involving stealthy, hidden passages and others requiring getting into fights with people in the area. Throughout the demo, both lethal and non-lethal options for getting to Koller are shown.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided will be coming to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC on August 23, 2016.
