Rise Of The Tomb Raider Has VR Support On The PlayStation 4

Rise of the Tomb Raider was a timed exclusive, so while Xbox 360 and Xbox One owners were able to play and enjoy it in November 2015, PC and PlayStation 4 people had to wait. The Windows launch came and went on January 28, 2016, and now we finally have the final console release date. Lara Croft will return to PlayStation 4s worldwide in Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration on October 11, 2016.

The PlayStation 4 version of Rise of the Tomb Raider will include additional content not offered in the original version of the game. To start, it will offer a new Blood Ties story chapter with optional PlayStation VR support. People will also be able to go through a cooperative endurance mode. Those who found the game too easy, even on Survivor, can choose the Extreme Survivor difficulty that only allows you to save at campfires and removes checkpoints. More Expedition Cards inspired by classic Lara Croft designs, a reimagined Tomb Raider III Antarctica outfit, and weapons like Tomb Raider III’s Hailstorm pistol will be added, and all DLC from the initial release will be available. People who pre-order will also get an art book.
