Game developer Cococucumber, the team behind Planet of the Eyes, is bringing their latest action adventure game, Riverbond, to consoles and PC in early 2017. Featuring gameplay reminiscent of classic ‘80s adventure titles, players take control of a little Voxel art hero with a powerful sword that can slash away at the blocky enemies or even bits of the world around him.
Riverbond features a single-player campaign with a hero-driven narrative. According to the developer, as players explore the land and complete quests throughout their adventure, they will “uncover the truth of a collapsing world, and rebuild the passage that once served as the path between life, death, and the great beyond.”
