PCs Can Prepare For Assault Suit Leynos On August 30

The Steam product page for Assault Suit Leynos has confirmed the PC version’s release. People will be able to play the HD remake of  the Sega Genesis’ Target Earth on August 30, 2016. The listing confirms achievements and partial controller support.

The reasoning for the partial, rather than full, controller support for Assault Suit Leynos’ PC release was detailed in an update. The title screen doesn’t have a Quit Game option on the main menu, requiring someone to press the Esc key to leave the game. This issue is what is keeping the game from full controller support, despite supporting Xbox 360 gamepads from the first boot, and is an issue that is being worked on. Assault Suit Leynos may also need to go into Options and choose the Default Xbox 360 Pad Set if they’re using any controller other than an Xbox 360 gamepad to play the game.

Assault Suit Leynos is immediately available on the PlayStation 4.
