Nintendo revealed a new side-scroller adventure Pikmin game for Nintendo 3DS during their Direct presentation this morning.
The game features Olimar and plenty of familiar elements from the series, but with a side-scrolling twist and various puzzles to solve along the way. Players will get to tap the touch screen where they want to throw the Pikmin. The game is designed as an action game that makes players think and use every Pikmin to solve problems.
Pikmin for Nintendo 3DS (tentative) releases in 2017.
