Rattata Gets An Alola Form In Pokémon Sun & Moon

Recommended Videos

During today’s Nintendo Direct, we got a look at some new footage from Pokémon Sun & Moon, including how the Pokémon Rattata has changed in the different region. Rattata’s Alola Form is black in color and features spiky tufts of fur in its ears and tail. It has also changed to the typing of Dark/Normal.

Additionally, those who purchase either Pokémon Sun or Pokémon Moon early will receive a Munchlax which will be holding a special item called Snorlium Z. Once the Pokémon evolves into Snorlax while holding Snorlium Z, it will learn a special Z-Move called Pulverizing Pancake, which cannot be learned by any other Pokémon.

Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon will release for the Nintendo 3DS on November 18th worldwide and November 23rd in Europe.
