XSEED Games has announced the Ankake developed Touhou: Scarlet Curiosity will be released digitally in North America on September 20, 2016. It will be available exclusively on PlayStation 4 at a listed price of $19.99.

The game follows the immortal Remilia Scarlet on her quest to stave off boredom by slaying a monster in the countryside. Unlike the shmups in the Touhou Project universe, Touhou: Scarlet Curiosity is an action RPG that takes its inspiration from titles like Ys. Siliconera delivered an in-depth overview of the game at E3.
