Tales of the Elements FC is set to re-imagine Hip Hop culture as a four player co-op action RPG, blending the music with a traditional fantasy JRPG setting.

Tales of the Elements FC uses the history of Hip Hop as the lore of the game’s world, known as Polyphony. There will also be optional Hip Hop-themed musical mechanics, although the developer has not gone into detail about what these entail.

The game will feature top-down combat where up to four players can work together to cut down their enemies. Some light puzzle elements have also been added in to create variety in play.

The game’s music will be a blend of traditional RPG fantasy music and Hip Hop, developed by artists Mega Ran, K-Murdock, and Last BeNeVoLeNcE. The game will also come with a free copy of the Tales of the Elements FC album, which can be sampled now on Bandcamp.

Tales of the Elements FC is set to be released in late 2016, and is raising votes on Greenlight for a Steam release.
