Digimon Universe: Appli Monsters Trailer Highlights Its App-Based Monster Adventures

Bandai Namco shared the latest trailer for Digimon Universe: Appli Mosnters, where instead of traditional Digimon, you’ll have app-based monsters called “Appmon” as your buddies on 3DS.

 

Digimon Universe: Appli Monsters features plenty of monsters called Appmon that will help out in various ways, and they all come with their own characteristics based on smartphone apps.

 

As far as gamepaly goes, you play by creating decks and Appmon Chips to fight enemies, while combining forces of your Appmon while mixing up strategies against enemies. There’s also a variety of skills to use in battle, as shown in the video.

 

Digimon Universe: Appli Monsters releases in Japan on December 1, 2016 for Nintendo 3DS. There’s also the Digimon Universe: Appli Monsters Cyber Arena, a free version of the game that lets you get a taste of the RPG and carry over save data to the full release.
