Koei Tecmo’s Talking About Atelier Shallie On Twitter

It looks like another PlayStation Vita version of a PlayStation 3 Atelier game is headed to North America and Europe. Both Koei Tecmo’s North American and European Twitter accounts have shared the same image of Shallistera Argo and Shallotte Elminus, the two alchemist heroines of Atelier Shallie, and said, “More updates coming next week.” This suggests a western Atelier Shallie Plus: Alchemists of the Dusk Sea release will be announced PlayStation Vitas in the coming week.

In Atelier Shallie: Alchemists of the Dusk Sea, the third installment of the Dusk trilogy, players get to choose which “Shallie”’s story they follow. Shallistera’s story is rather serious, as she’s attempting to save her hometown from a deadly drought, while Shallotte’s is more of a slice-of-life experience as we follow her journey to go from a novice alchemist to a master. Both Atelier Escha & Logy’s Logy and Atelier Ayesha’s Ayesha only appear in Atelier Shallie Plus, alongside more costumes, an extra boss, and new scenarios. The PlayStation Vita version also includes the PlayStation 3 iteration’s DLC, which adds Atelier Escha & Logy’s Escha and Solle as playable characters, costumes, and an Abyss dungeon.

Atelier Shallie Plus: Alchemists of the Dusk Sea was released on the PlayStation Vita in Japan on March 3, 2016.
