Earning Each Superdimension Neptunia VS Sega Hard Girls Ending Takes Some Time

Recommended Videos

Superdimension Neptunia VS Sega Hard Girls isn’t a terribly long game, compared to the other Neptunia series RPGs. After about thirty to forty hours, you should be completely set and have figured out how to restore history and eliminate the issues between the CPU goddesses and Sega Hard Girls. That is, unless you decide to go all the way and attempt to earn every ending and take on the post-game dungeon. If you want to see it all, it’s going to take much more time.

There are three endings in Superdimension Neptunia VS Sega Hard Girls. The first is the easiest one to earn and is a normal ending. As you go through the game, Histoire will eventually put up a quest to kill the Time Eater. Do what it says and you’re set. Congratulations! You can quit now, if you’d like.

If normal isn’t enough for you, then that’s a good time to go for the true ending. There are two ways you can start going for this, one is via a new game plus and the other is to go ahead and, spoiler alert, go through a second time loop. Superdimension Neptunia VS Sega Hard Girls’ true ending unlocks after you complete every story mission in each era. You can’t miss a single one or put it off. Once you’ve done everything, Segami will appear for an event in the Grand Library. This will again trigger a fight against the Time Eater and give the true ending after it.

Oddly enough, the bad ending is going to be the most difficult to get. You’ll only be able to do it in a new game plus file. Fortunately, your Superdimension Neptunia VS Sega Hard Girls’ levels and unlock skilled, classes, class caps, and equipment carry over, which will make this possible. After you go for that normal or true ending, make sure your characters are ready and properly equipped. (The shop stock when the new game plus save begins starts from scratch, due to inventory being tied to story progress and observation level.) The first time you encountered the Time Eater in your initial playthrough, it beat you. In the new game plus playthrough, you beat it to see the bad end. Which will be very possible, considering the levels your party will have at that point.

Though, you may want to keep going after that. There are some extra new game plus quests in Superdimension Neptunia VS Sega Hard Girls, as well as a new game plus boss takes some doing to unlock it. Remember Delphinus from games like Hyperdimension Neptunia mk2 and Victory? She’s back. You need to unlock all four of the available eras and unlock the Uzume and Dreamcast era’s ruins first, if you want to face her. After seeing an event there and completing a mission to persuade Uzume, you’ll need to talk to IF. This only happens after you lose to the Time Eater that first time, hence the need for the extra save.

After speaking to IF, you need to complete some rather basic missions and proceed through the story to unlock Delphinus. They aren’t too difficult. Basically, you’ll to defeat 5 High Lizards, then collect 3 Shampuru ears, defeat 5 Carroteers, then defeat 4 guardians in the ruins, talking to IF in the Grand Library after each one of those missions. From there, you’ll have to head to Plutia and Mega Drive’s era, listen to some people chatting in the Grand Library and time period. Then, you’ll unlock a Delphinus mission. Good luck with that, as I still haven’t beaten her.

Getting to see absolutely everything in Superdimension Neptunia VS Sega Hard Girls takes a little bit of time. The three endings don’t require you to do anything extraordinary, beyond spending time playing, completing missions, and perfecting characters. There’s a good chance you could even earn two without much trouble. Just take your time, pace yourself, and you’ll take that Time Eater down in every possible way.
