In Period: Cube ~Shackles of Amadeus~, players follow a young woman named Kazuha. Her elder brother, Shiki, has disappeared, and the only way to find out where he’s gone is to begin playing Arcadia, an MMORPG. However, Kazuha is the Shinken, a divine sword that can be used to clear the game and escape the virtual world. Fortunately, a group of young men who are also romance prospects are there to help her on her way. It’s an over 30 hour game with a branching narrative and multiple endings.
