The Game Awards 2016’s Mass Effect: Andromeda Trailer Takes Us To A Planet

Recommended Videos

At The Game Awards 2016 last night, EA and BioWare gave us a rather substantial look at Mass Effect: Andromeda. In an almost five minute trailer, we were able to see official gameplay footage as Alex Ryder, the Pathfinder, visited some planets, explored a city, met with an apparently important person, and fought both enemies and native wildlife.

The Mass Effect: Andromeda trailer begins with the female version of Ryder saying, “Yeah, no way this is home.” It shows off a few biomes, offering a look at the planet selection menu. More specifically, we see the Govorkam solar system and planet Kadara, where Ryder will at one point need to go for an M4 Hunting the Archon mission. We also get to see her alongside what look to be Turian and Krogan teammates and meet Sloane Kelly, a former head of Nexus Security member of the Initiative and Alliance member.

Mass Effect: Andromeda will come to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in spring 2017.
