Dead Rising 4’s first add-on has made its debut. Xbox One owners can pick up the Stocking Stuffer Holiday Pack immediately, while Windows 10 owners need to wait until early 2017. This DLC brings festive equipment and characters to the game for $4.99.
The Dead Rising 4 Stocking Stuffer Holiday Pack adds six new things to the game. There’s a new border for the menu screen that’s festive. Frank gets a Santa Claus suit. NPCs and enemies get to dress up, as standard zombies are elves, the fresh zombies are reindeer, and survivors are dressed as gingerbread men and snowmen. You get Blast from the Past and Zombie Slugger festive weapon variations. There’s also Santa’s Little Melter, a laser-shooting motorcycle with Rudolph’s head mounted on it. To acquire the Santa Claus suit, Santa’s Little Metler, and the variations on Blast from the Past and Zombie Slugger, you must buy them from in-game vendors in a bunker. To turn off the costumed enemies, toggle off the DLC in the menu.
Dead Rising 4 is available for the Xbox One and Windows 10. Two new difficulty levels will come to the story mode in 2017.
