Circle Entertainment Calls 2017 The Year Of Go! Go! Kokopolo 3D

Back in 2012, Circle Entertainment said it would be bringing Go! Go! Kokopolo 3D: Space Recipe for Disaster, a sequel to Go! Go! Kokopolo, to the Nintendo 3DS eShop in 2012 or 2013. It then slipped from the radar until last month. In early December 2016, Circle confirmed the game is still in development. Now, this past weekend, it called 2017 the year of Kokopolo, offering a more solid release window for the eShop game.

When it was originally announced, Go! Go! Kokopolo 3D: Space Recipe for Disaster was said to star Kokopolo, Tatsumo, and Jinbe as they went through multiple worlds, attempting to complete a space tablet that would grant immortality. There are supposedly 80 stages and boss fights, with the goal being to run around so enemies in the stages will see you, get agitated, and chase you until you can get certain number chains to unlock areas and lead them to their doom.

The original Go! Go! Kokopolo was a DSiWare game released in North America and Europe in 2011 and in Japan in 2012. However, it removed from digital storefronts in August 2014.
