Horizon Zero Dawn Deals on Digital Deluxe and Standard

We’re less than a handful of days away from Gueurilla Games next big man vs. machine release Horizon Zero Dawn. Deals have been surfacing on the net as the launch date draws near. Whether you’re buying a digital code, a physical box, the standard edition or the Collector’s, we’ve figured out the best retailers offers on tap for this PS4 exclusive.

The newest retailer in the frey is the normally PC focused digital retailer GMG. They are now selling PS4 digital codes with small discounts and Horizon Zero Dawn is receiving a discount of around 7% off. This isn’t massive, but you do get instant digital delivery from an authorized retailer and no sales tax in the US – that is something worth mentioning. As of writing, this is also the only legit way to get a deal on the Digital Deluxe edition of Horizon Zero Dawn.

Dell Home is another retailer worth checking out for their deal on the Standard Edition. There is no discount, but Dell is tossing in a hefty $25 eGift Card bonus when you pre-order through them. That’s arguably the best discount on the list, as the bonus makes up 42% the value of the purchase.

Horizon Zero Dawn Deals

Retailer/Edition List % Off Sale Price
GMG Digital Deluxe Edition (PS4 Download) $69.99 6% $65.99
GMG Standard Edition (PS4 Download) $59.99 7% $55.99
Dell Standard Edition + $25 eGift Card $59.99
Best Buy Collector’s Edition (GCU required) $119.99 20% $95.99
Best Buy Standard Edition (GCU required) $59.99 20% $47.99

Finally, for Best Buy GCU members, the game is receiving the typical 20% off. Not a member? The cost of membership is $30 for 2 years and would only be worth it if you’re planning to buy at least 3 titles per year. No extra pre-order certificate bonus are included in this game, something we’re not seeing in recent months for pre-orders at Best Buy.

Standard, Deluxe, or Collector’s

Pre-ordering Horizon Zero Dawn from any legitimate retailer will grant you the pre-order bonus “Nora Machine-Trapper Pack” – a resource pack that includes weapon and armor modifications as well as crafting resources.

In terms of different version of Horizon Zero Dawn, the digital Deluxe Edition grants you extra DLC goodies: Nora Keeper Pack, Carja Trapper Pack, Banuk Traveler Pack, Banuk Trailblazer Outfit and Culling Bow, Carja Storm Ranger Outift and Mighty Bow, an exclusive PS4 theme, and Digital Art Book. We don’t think its worth the extra $10, but if you’re dead set in starting the game with a lot more in-game goodies, this is the way to go.

For the physical Collector’s Edition, the $120 list price gets you everything in the Deluxe plus physical items: a 48-page art book (in-lieu of the digital artbook), 9″ Aloy Statue, and SteelBook case for the physical disc. If you’re dead set on the physical CE, you may as well grab from Best Buy and slap GCU as an add-on to get the immediate 20% off bonus, knocking the price down to $95.99.
