Firestorm Joins Injustice 2’s Cast

The latest member of the Injustice 2 cast has been revealed. Firestorm will be joining the fight. A new trailer shows his extensive use of his fire powers, as well as reveals how helpful his projectiles can be.

Firestorm made his DC Comics debut in 1978. The original Firestorm was Ronnie Raymond and Martin Stein, a high school student and physicist who fused and developed powers during a nuclear accident. In the most recent New 52 line, Firestorm is made up of two high school students named Ronnie Raymond and Jason Rusch. A God Particle from Professor Stein causes the two to fuse into the superhero.

Injustice 2 will come to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on May 16, 2017.
