Pocket Rumble Trailer Shows All Eight Of Its Characters

The Nintendo Switch version of Pocket Rumble, Cardboard Robot Games and Chucklefish’s love letter to Neo Geo Pocket Color fighters, has received a brand new trailer. To help people better visualize how this two-button fighter works and see the similarities between it and, say, King of Fighters R-2 or Gal Fighters, people can see an almost one minute video that shows each of the eight playable characters using some of their special attacks.

The stars of Pocket Rumble are Tenchi, Naomi, Keiko, Quinn, June, Hecktor, Agent Parker, and Subject 11. There are some supernatural elements present here, as you can see from the various characters’ attacks. Subject 11 has psychokinetic abilities that are used to hurl people around. Keiko has a monstrous cat. Quinn is a werewolf. There are also more traditional fighters present too, though, with Naomi being more of a standard fighter and Hector relying on his katana.

Pocket Rumble is available for Windows PCs via Steam Early Access. It will be coming to the Nintendo Switch this year. It costs $9.99.
