Pictologica Final Fantasy Headed To 3DS In Japan On July 12

The free-to-play Final Fantasy puzzle game Pictologica Final Fantasy has been out for a while in Japan now (since October 2013 to be exact), and Square Enix announced it’s headed to 3DS In Japan on July 12, 2017.

 

For those of you unfamiliar with Pictologica Final Fantasy, it’s a pretty simple game that mixes RPG elements with dot logic puzzles. Players take on a party of four (plus an optional friend) to battle through waves of enemies while solving puzzles.

 

As shown in the video, the bottom screen has a 5×5 plane that is used to solve puzzles while the old school visuals take place on the top screen. PIctologia Final Fantasy has over 300 puzzle images and 160 characters from across the Final Fantasy universe. with new weapons and skills.

 

Pictologia Final Fantasy releases in Japan on July 12, 2017 for Nintendo 3DS. The game is currently available for iPhone and Android, only in Japan.
