It turns out Super Mario Odyssey will be compatible with various amiibo, as well as receive some of its own. After Nintendo’s E3 2017 presentation, a number of details relating to and images of the game’s amiibo were revealed. To start, there will be new Mario, Peach, and Bowser NFC figures.
The three new Super Mario Odyssey amiibo will be Mario, Peach, and Bowser in wedding outfits. Peach is in a wedding dress, while both Mario and Bowser are wearing white suits with top hats. These figures will be released on October 27, 2017, the same day the game debuts.
In Super Mario Odyssey, these three amiibo and a few other previous figures can be scanned in. Unspecified “game assistance” may be offered or Mario might get a new outfit when this is done.
Super Mario Odyssey will come to the Nintendo Switch on October 27, 2017.
