Sonic Mania’s soundtrack is getting a rather special release. Data Discs and Sega will be releasing the album on vinyl. An exact release date is not yet available, but pre-orders will open in July 2017.
There will be three variations of the Sonic Mania vinyl soundtrack. One is a 180g Classic Black, another is a 180g Translucent Blue, and the third will be a to be announced 180g limited edition. The limited edition will only be available directly from Data Discs.
A track listing is also not yet available. However, it will have select songs composed by Tee Lopes . Also, the opening track will be “Lights, Camera, Action! (Studiopolis Act 1).”
Sonic Mania will come to the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and PC on August 15, 2017.
