When the first Nights of Azure released in Japan, Gust felt they could improve on the game with Nights of Azure 2, and they shared a look at just how in an official comparison video to show its upgrades.
The comparison video covers various points on what is better in Nights of Azure 2, with a look at what it was like in the first game for each segment. The first point is “beautiful girls,” showing how Nights of Azure focused on its two main beautiful girls, but it shows how there’s plenty more of where that came from in Nights of Azure 2.
The second point is about how Servans are more involved now with the ability to transform into weapons or help you get across the map using various abilities. Point three shows that Nights of Azure 2 has much more story volume than its predecessor, followed by the next point that shows improved dungeon gimmicks and setups.
Next, we get a look at the more robust character ability and stat customization options. Last but not least, the last point shows how Nights of Azure 2 looks a lot better on the handheld than the first Nights of Azure did.
Nights of Azure 2 releases in Japan on August 31, 2017 for PS4, PS Vita, and Switch. North America gets the game on October 24 and Europe on October 27 for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
