Shinji Mikami’s next thriller has received a new trailer. In “Survive,” we get to spend two minutes learning more about Detective Sebastian Castellanos, the guilt he feels for not being able to be there for his daughter, Lily, and the otherworldly creatures he will have to face in the game. It gives us a chance to see more gameplay and learn more about the story.
Castellanos formerly appeared in The Evil Within, the events of which caused him to lose everything. In order for a chance at aiding his daughter, he agrees to work with MOBIUS to go into Union, their world. Doing so will somehow help him save Lily from a threat. However, he can only come to her rescue if he stays alive.
The Evil Within 2 will come to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on October 13, 2017. People who pre-order will get a Last Chance Pack that gives you a Burst Handgun, crafting supplies, and medical supplies.
