Dunpets Colors Collects Cute Creatures For Battle & Play

By Joel Couture . August 12, 2017 . 1:00pm

Dunpets Colors offers players an array of cute creatures they can find and collect – animals that they can play minigames with, spend some time with in their customizable home, or use them animals in turn-based combat as they explore dungeons,

Dunpets Colors is set to offer twenty kinds of creatures (called Dunpets) at launch, each of which can reach four growth stages that changes its appearance should it fight enough other Dunpets. These battles will be done in turn-based combat where the game’s twelve elemental types will come into play. Each Dunpet is tied to an elemental type, making them more or less effective depending on what they are fighting against. However, players bring two Dunpets into any given fight, so they won’t be stuck with a single creature of the wrong type.

When not combing through the game’s generated dungeons or poking around for new Dunpet eggs in the field, players will be able to play some minigames with their Dunpets, although the developers have not stated what those entail. Players can also go to their customizable refuge, where they can place decorative objects and visit with their Dunpets. Players will also be able to visit the refuges of other players, leaving gifts or challenging them to fights.

Dunpets Colors is looking to release by the end of this year.
