Blaster Master Zero Is Adding A New Boss Rush Mode In The 1.4 Update That Arrives Next Week

Inti Creates held a special NicoNico Live stream earlier today, where it revealed some plans for a new update for Blaster Master Zero arriving next week. It includes a new boss rush mode. [Thanks, Nintendo Everything.]

The main part of the 1.4 update is the addition of a new boss rush mode called “Boss Blast”mode. Boss Blast mode is for single-player, but there’s a two-player Multi Boss Blast mode for the Switch version of the game, which you can check out in the above video.

Multi Boss Blast will be a free DLC with the update, but it requires unlocking via clearing the game on the Switch version to access both modes.

Moreover, Inti Creates announced that they’re bumping up the number of save slots on Switch from 9 to 21. However, Inti Creates say that there are problems with coding and memory limitations for the save slot expansion on 3DS.

Blaster Master Zero is available on Nintendo Switch and Nintendo 3DS. The 1.4 update launches next week.
