Marvelous shared another batch of new gameplay action videos for Senran Kagura Burst Re:Newal with a look at its Aerial Raves, a Katsuragi Shinobi Transformation, And Costume Breaks.

With plenty of action elements offered in the game, Marvelous shared a few new screenshots and details on the features.
Attacking an enemy more than twice consecutively results in the start of a combo. You can keep it going with more successive hits. You gain more experience with higher combo hits, so it’s recommended to combo as often as possible.
The Aerial Rave is a short series of hits on an aerial target. These are unique to each character, and are useful to land multiple hits on tough enemies with a lot of health and defense.
You’ll often find yourself surrounded by enemies, so it’s important to put various actions to use, such as escape arts and Limit Breaks.
A Shinobi Transformation changes a character’s costume into their shinobi outfit, and it provides a buff in attack and defense. It also makes it possible to use Secret Ninja Arts.
While using Secret Ninja Arts you’ll be invincible, so it is especially useful in order to give yourself the advantage in the battlefield. All characters have their own unique scenes for Secret Ninja Arts.
Frantic is another kind of technique that can be used after a Shinobi Transformation. This ability destroys all clothing except underwear, and provides a super high attack buff but lowers defense.
Last but not least, we have a look at the series’ prominent Costume Break feature. When taking damage in battle the character’s costume begins to break. Costume Breaks come in two stages after taking enough damage, and getting hit by a Super or Ultimate Secret Ninja Art while in the second stage of a Costume Break results in a “Complete Break” status where all clothing gets destroyed.
