Gintama Rumble Adds Playable Hijikata Toshiro, Kondo Isao, Okita Sougo, And Imai Nobume

Bandai Namco shared new information on the upcoming action game Gintama Rumble in this week’s issue of Jump magazine with new playable characters including Hijikata Toshiro and other Shinsengumi members. [Thanks, Ryokutya2089.]

First, the story mode will feature the Courtesan of a Nation Arc and the Baragaki Arc along with some key characters.

As for new playable characters, the following characters were revealed:

• Hijikata Toshiro – Has many moves for slicing his way through battle, he’s able to group enemies together and take them out with waves of hits.

• Kondo Isao – A power-type character that boasts top attack. His speed is slow but comes with heavy hits.

• Okita Sougo – Able to keep enemies at a distance with swift swordplay. He also uses a bazooka as his special attack.

• Imai Nobume – Dual-wields blades and dances around enemies with stylish moves.

Sasaki Isaburo (Baragaki Arc) and Oboro (Courtesan of a Nation Arc) were revealed as boss characters.

Gintama Rumble releases in Japan on January 18, 2018 for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita. The Asia version releases on the same day for PlayStation 4.
