The future may be filled with advanced technology and neon light, but none of that will keep the phantoms of the past at bay in adventure game Sense – 不祥的预感: A Cyberpunk Ghost Story.
Mei-Lin, a programmer with cybernetic eyes, soon finds herself trapped inside the Chung Sing Building, a tower where a bloody series of mysterious events occurred. These events have lead to fourteen spirits haunting the place, all of whom can end Mei-Lin’s life should they wish to. It will be up to Mei-Lin to find the items that will soothe their spirits and let her finally be free of the place, or else she will quickly find herself joining the dead.
Players will need to explore the Chung Sing Building and the gritty, futuristic world around them, speaking with the downtrodden denizens and looking for items that will help them deal with the hauntings that plague them. Not all spirits they find mean her harm, though, and players may be able to find out even more information about the lethal spirits by finding the more passive ghosts that also lurk around the world.
The first playthrough of Sense – 不祥的预感: A Cyberpunk Ghost Story will only reveal most of the world’s mysteries. Some stories and information about certain ghosts will only be unveiled on New Game +, encouraging players to tackle the game again in order to learn the whole story behind its frightening hauntings.
Sense – 不祥的预感: A Cyberpunk Ghost Story is raising development funding through Kickstarter, offering a demo through the campaign to entice players to donate.
