A formerly Japan-exclusive mobile game has been released worldwide. KLab Games has picked up Captain Tsubasa: Dream Team, a soccer simulation for Android and Apple iOS devices. The free-to-play game can be found on Google Play and iTunes. English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, and Traditional Chinese language options are available.

In Captain Tsubasa: Dream Team, players create a dream team filled with characters from the Captain Tsubasa manga and anime series. (Which means you could have quite a roster to choose from, as it first appeared in 1981 and has received multiple adaptations and installments.) You can play alone in a story mode or go online and face other players in online matches. You choose your team, customizing the characters and improving their skills, and then decide on your formation and kit.

Launch promotions are currently in effect. Everyone gets a SSR Tsubasa Ozara and 25 Dreamballs (gacha currency) to start, and 10 Dreamballs will be given away between December 5-20, 2017. If you do a 50 Dreamball Transfer pull, you will be guaranteed a SSR-quality character. You will also have a better chance of getting SSR Champion of Nankatsu Tsubasa Ozora or SSR Invincible Ace Striker Kojiro Hyuga during this period.

Captain Tsubasa: Dream Team debuted on Android and Apple iOS devices in Japan in June 2017.
