Poisoft’s Order Land! Returns To Kickstarter

Back in October 2017, Poisoft attempted to bring Order Land!, a simulation game that appeared previously on the Nintendo Wii and Nintendo 3DS, to the West via a Kickstarter campaign. It attempted to reach $44,573 by November 11, 2017, so it could release the game on the Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and PC in English, but failed. Now, a second Order Land! Kickstarter campaign has launched.

Once again, Poisoft is attempting to release Order Land! on the Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and PC in English. This time, the funding levels are much lower, with the quality of the translation varying depending on how much money the developer is able to raise. If $17,763 is raised by January 8, 2018, the project will be funded and the translation will be handled in-house with a professional translator overseeing it. If about $40,625 is raised, a professional translator will handle the story part and the other parts will be handled in-house under the supervision of a professional translator. If about $49,107 comes in, a professional translator will completely handle Order Land!.

The lowest amount of money someone can pledge and receive a copy of Order Land! is about $9, which gets them a download code for the Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, or PC version of the game. Higher donation levels give you additional content like Human’s, Elf and Dwarf’s, and Devil’s pixel art sets, a digital soundtrack, and a digital art book. Pledging $178 will get you Poisoft’s Hiroshi Ishikawa’s Japanese version Nintendo 3DS (with or without his signature on it). Once you pass the $266 pledge point, you begin to get the ability to name and customize heroes or other in-game content.

The original incarnation of Order Land!, Order!, was released on the Nintendo Wii in Japan in 2009. Order Land!, the updated version with both King and Hero Modes, launched on the Nintendo 3DS in Japan in 2013. If this North American and European version of Order Land! is funded, it will have a tentative April 2018 release window.
