Vanillaware’s 2018 New Year’s Drawing Is “Margaret of Antioch”

Recommended Videos

Every year Vanillaware president George Kamitani shares artwork for the New Year, such as 2017’s “The Hidden Cave”, and this time he shared a piece named “Margaret of Antioch”.

The tale depicted is of how Margaret is eaten by a demon in the shape of a snake, but destroys it thanks to the cross she wore, banishing the demon.

Vanillaware’s New Year’s cards have held secrets in the past, such as 2013’s card, which was eventually revealed as 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim.
