The roguelike dungeon crawler Omega Labyrinth Z was confirmed last November that it was coming West, but it seems it will be skipping over the UK, which was refused classification yesterday. [Thanks, Rice Digital!]

PQube confirmed that this was indeed the case, and expressed disappointment at the decision. The VSC Rating Board revealed the full details on their site, stating that the game was refused classification due to ‘the likely harm being caused to potential children or young people viewing the game’, as ‘the game clearly promotes the sexualisation of children via the sexual interaction between the game player and the female characters’. The full details can be viewed by clicking the link in this Tweet.

Omega Labyrinth Z will be released in the West, except for the UK, in Spring 2018 for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita.
