Dragon Quest Builders 2 Gets A First Look At Malroth, Who Seems To Be A Good Guy

Recommended Videos

Dragon Quest Builders 2 got its latest details in this week’s issue of Jump magazine with a first look at Malroth who is actually a good guy and not a six-armed demon god of some sort. [Thanks, @Aterufa-Iomo.]

Malroth shares the same name as the final boss of Dragon Quest II, but this time around he’s a young man who shares the same name and also suffers from amnesia and doesn’t remember anything other than his own name. He was designed by Akira Toriyama and he’ll help you out as an ally in Dragon Quest Builders 2.

When the protagonist first meets Malroth, his memories were already lost, and there’s a lot of mystery behind him, but he’ll certainly be a helpful ally to have on the empty island.

Dragon Quest Builders 2 is in development for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. Check out our previous report for a closer look at the game’s male and female protagonists, and setting.
