Wargroove has received an updated release window. At PAX East 2018, Chucklefish’s Jay Baylis confirmed the strategy game will be released in the second half of 2018. Baylis also confirmed the ability to create custom campaigns will also be available at launch, specifically mentioning the cutscene editor that allows you to create your own story segments will be immediately available when it releases. (Thanks, PCGamesN!)
As a reminder, Wargroove is Chucklefish’s upcoming game inspired by Advance Wars. People end up having the option to go through solo campaigns, directing units around a map to complete objectives and win. It will feature couch co-op, online multiplayer and a campaign editor that will let you create your own maps or even full campaigns that can be shared with other players.
Wargroove is in development for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
