Dragon Quest Builders 2 takes place after the ending of Dragon Quest II but peace was short-lived as followers of the corrupt cleric Hargon decided to wreak havoc as successors known as the Hargon Order. The official website has updated with new screenshots and details.
While the world saw a moment of peace, it wasn’t long until the new threat known as the Hargon Order appeared. This group inherited the will of Hargon, the main antagonist of Dragon Quest II who was defeated by the three descendants of the Hero.
The Hargon Order has destroyed most of the world and only a small fraction of humanity remains, however, the protagonist who has the power of creation is a threat to their cause of destruction.
The protagonist will find themselves facing followers of the Order starting with the Empty Island.
However, it appears that we’ll be seeing them jailed by the Hargon Order to start.
Dragon Quest Builders 2 is in development for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. In case you missed it, we previously reported that Dragon Quest Builders 2 will support up to 4-player multiplayer.
