An Avengers: Infinity War crossover is coming to Fortnite. The official Twitter account says the Infinity Gauntlet Limited Time Mashup will begin on May 8, 2018. This event will give players the opportunity to become Thanos.
Entertainment Weekly received details from Epic Games’ Worldwide Creative Director Donald Mustard and Avengers: Infinity War’s Co-Directors Joe and Anthony Russo. Due to all people involved being fans of each others’ work,the Infinity Gauntlet Limited Time Mashup was brainstormed. The Infinity Gauntlet is in the mix in this 100-person battle royale. If someone finds and equips it their character will temporarily become Thanos and have his abilities. The last player standing is the winner.
Fortnite is available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC and both Android and Apple iOS devices. Avengers: Infinity War is currently in theaters.
