Jump Force’s Latest Tease Focuses On Death Note

A new teaser trailer has been released for Jump Force, and this time it is focusing on Death Note. It appears that both Light and Ryuk will be appearing in the game in some capacity. We see the two together, looking over a ruined landscape, in a very slightly extended version of the footage shown in the initial announcement trailer.

In an interview with Comicbook.com, Nick O’Leary, Bandai Namco’s Public Relations Manager, said Light and Ryuk would not be playable in Jump Force. As a reminder, when Light, Ryuk, L, Misa and Mello appeared in Jump Ultimate Stars on the Nintendo DS, they were support characters who could be briefly summoned in to aid a player’s active character, but were not playable.

Jump Force will come to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC in 2019.
