Transmogrify gives players a gun that changes enemies into various objects, and players can then use these objects to solve different kinds of puzzles as they explore a hostile space station.
Players will find themselves exploring a dangerous space station filled with hostile aliens in Transmogrify, many of which can end the player’s life quickly if caught by surprise. Some of these aliens can be shifted into useful objects that will help them solve puzzles or find ways of getting past larger, much more dangerous creatures. By working with teleporters, switches that need to be held down, laser traps, and more complex devices, players can hopefully keep their astronaut alive.
Levels in Transmogrify are designed to be short, allowing players to pick at them even if they have little time to play. These levels are also scored based on the player’s performance, allowing them to try for quicker, better solutions to improve that score.
Transmogrify is projected to release in January 2019, according to its Steam page. A demo is available through the game’s page.
