Warner Bros. Pictures And Legendary Looking For Detective Pikachu Fanart

Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary have put out a call for Detective Pikachu fanart on Talenthouse. The companies are looking for art to be used as part of the movie’s marketing campaign. People will have until 10am PT/1pm ET on January 7, 2019 to turn in designs, and the five artists will be picked by the company on February 4, 2019.

All artists, either working alone or as a team, are allowed to submit up to 10 pieces of art. These designs, which can be static or animated, must be jpegs, pngs, or gifs. They can no be photos or videos. The five winners picked will receive $2,000. However, during the whole submission period, people who have submitted work may see their fanart appear on Detective Pikachu social media accounts. (The Talenthouse page says people will be properly credited for their work, should it appear.)

 

Detective Pikachu will appear in theaters on May 10, 2019. The video game of the same name is immediately available on the Nintendo 3DS.
