Nintendo Switch Owners Can Make Waku Waku Sweets On November 22, 2018

Nintendo Switch owners will be able to start playing Cooking Mama-style minigames on their systems on November 22, 2018. That is when Waku Waku Sweets, an updated version of the Nintendo 3DS game of the same name, will be released in North America and Europe.

In Waku Waku Sweets, players follow a young woman named Lime. She is attempting to become a famous baker, which means making recipes for the shop where she is working, making sweets for her coworkers and people around town, and competing in contests with her rival, Mint. Each recipe involves completing a few cooking-related minigames to create a finished dessert, with motion controls helping people make each treat. There is also a password system to unlock new outfits, with the official website showing some of them.

A launch discount will be in effect. It will be 25% off until December 12, 2018, bringing the $39.99/€39.99 price down to $29.99/€29.99 temporarily.

Here is the first English Waku Waku Sweets trailer.
