We previously learned that the Athena arcade game is joining the regular Arcade Archives lineup and this week’s issue of Famitsu magazine has provided a release date. [Thanks, Ryokutya2089.]

As mentioned in our earlier report, Athena was included alongside other titles set to join the lineup such as Alpha Mission, Ikari Warriors, and more as part of SNK titles from when they were still known as Shin Nihon Keikaku.

Arcade Archives Athena releases in Japan on December 13, 2018 for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch.
