Chinese And Korean Nintendo Switch UI Language Options Have Been Announced

Recommended Videos

Nintendo is preparing to offer more language options for its latest console. Sometime in the near future, Chinese and Korean Nintendo Switch UI language options will be available. This means someone will be able to head into the system settings and choose Korean, Simplified Chinese, or Traditional Chinese as the language very soon. (An exact date was not provided.) In addition, Nintendo Switch Online memberships are coming to Hong Kong, South Korea, and Taiwan.

The Korean, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese language options have been present for a while, but not for the Nintendo Switch UI. The Nintendo Switch launched in South Korea and Taiwan on December 1, 2017. Support for those languages in games like The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild also appeared then.

The Nintendo Switch Online service does not yet have a launch date for Hong Kong, South Korea, and Taiwan. It was also described as arriving soon. Once it does, people will be able to choose one of those regions when setting things up.

The Nintendo Switch is available worldwide.
