Arika, the developer that released Ketsui: Death Label on the Nintendo DS, is working with Nintendo on a downloadable DSiWare shoot ‘em up. Aa Mujou Setsuna is exactly what it sounds like — a ruthless moment.
September’s first party Wii game is Forever Blue: Call of the Sea aka Endless Ocean 2 in North America. Multiple retailers in Japan confirm Arika’s underwater exploration game will be ready on September 17.
My demo impressions of Ketsui: Death Label were more spot on than I realized. Arika did not port Ketsui to the Nintendo DS. Ketsui: Death Label cuts out the stages and gets straight to boss fights. The game starts with only three modes novice, normal, and doom mode. Normal mode throws four giant ships [...]
How do you “sort of” play a game? You play a demo that barely resembles the final product. A Ketsui: Death Label demo popped up on Japan’s Nintendo Channel. Not much information has come out beyond the initial announcement, but Ketsui Death Label is well [...]
Ahh, the ocean. Nothing invokes a sense of wonder quite like it. It almost seems like an entirely different world from our own. Unfortunately, exploring this world isn't always easy, especially if you're like me and sink like a rock when put in any body of water over six feet deep. But for those of [...]
Remember the Forever Blue glitch? Nintendo is starting a program where you can replace your buggy copy of the game for a fixed game for free. New copies of the game will begin to arrive on August 21. However, new copies of the game will only be shipped to Japan. Sorry importers! If you were [...]
Nintendo made a statement that Forever Blue is bugged and the source of the problem is the Shinonomesakatazame (pictured). The key to dodging the bug is to no put the Shinonomesakatazame in your aquarium. If it’s automatically put in your aquarium, you need to remove it otherwise the game is going to lock up. [...]
