The Siliconera community discusses the Armored Core games and how they stack up against Another Century’s Episode.

At least one of From Software’s PSP ports is confirmed for release outside of Japan.

The next game in From Software’s collection of PlayStation 2 to PSP ports is Armored Core: Silent Line Portable and it’s set for release on November 19.

Tenchu license holder, From Software is porting a lot of PlayStation 2 games to the PSP. All six of the announced titles are far from remakes, but they will have new features.

A large library of downloadable game archives in Japan eliminates the need for PsOne ports. PlayStation 2 ports are the new black, according to Tenchu developer From Software.

Insert Credit posted this as a rumor last week, but Armored Core for Answer will be published outside of Japan thanks to Ubisoft. The game appeared on Ubisoft’s first quarter financial statement along with Curling for the DS, but only Canada gets that.
